Uniben Department of Human Kinetics and Sports Science offers the following Degree Programmes:

B.Sc. (Ed) Human Kinetics and Sports Development

B.Sc. (Ed) Sports Coaching and Management

B.Sc. (Ed) Sports Science and Human Performance

3 Years Full Time (Direct Entry)

5/6 Years Part Time

A.    Admission Requirements for Four-Year Full-Time Degree Programme(UTME)

Candidates seeking admission into the programme should possess any of the following qualifications:  At least five ordinary level credit passes in the Teacher’s Grade II Certificate Examination (TCII) or any other recognized equivalent obtained at not more than two sittings. They should include English Language, Mathematics, any Science subject among Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and any other two subjects. 

The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Subjects are Use of English, any two Science Subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science. And any other Social Science Subject.

B.    Admission Requirements for Three-Year Full-Time Degree Programme (Direct Entry)

In addition to (A) above, Candidates should possess any of following qualifications:

 (i) Holders of Diploma in Physics Education, Physical and Health Education or other related areas with at least a merit pass or lower credit or its equivalent are eligible. (ii) Holders of NCE in Physical Education, Physical and Health Education or other areas at merit pass also qualify.

C.    Admission Requirements for Five-Year/Six-Year Part-Time Degree Programme:

The Department Offers Part-Time Programme for only;

NOTE: Admission requirements are the same as the four-year full-time and three-year full-time degree programmes.
