(A) Admission Requirements for The
Four Year Full–Time Programme (UTME)
Candidates
seeking admission into this programme should possess any of the following
qualifications:
At
least five ordinary level credit pass in WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SSCE/GCE, NATEB
or at least five merit level passes in the Teachers Grade II Certificate Examination (TC II) or any
other recognized equivalent obtained at not more than two sittings. They should include English Language,
Mathematics and one Science subject.
NOTE:
The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) subjects are Use of
English, One science subject and any other two science or social science
subjects.
(B) Admission Requirement for the Three-Year
Full-Time Degree Programme (Direct Entry)
Candidates
seeking admission into this programme should possess any of the following
qualifications:
At least two merit level passes
in the Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) one of which should be in Health
Education or Biology or Integrated Science and three Ordinary level credit
passes in WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, NABTEB or at least three merit passes in the
Teacher Grade II Certificate Examination (TC II) or any other recognized
equivalent obtained at one sitting or five „O‟
Level credits at not more than two sittings. These should include English
Language, and Mathematics.
At least a merit level pas in the
University of Benin Diploma or a credit pass from a recognized University in
Health Education or Environmental Health or Health Statistics, or Social Works,
Health Technology Administration or Community Health and at least three „O‟
Level passes in WASC, WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, NABTEB, NTC/NBC or three merit
passes in the Teacher’s Grade Two Certificate
Examination (TCII) or any of their recognized equivalent obtained at one
sitting or five „O‟
Level credit passes at not more than two sittings. The subjects should include
English Language and Mathematics.
Credit pass level in Certificate
for Community Extension Worker(CHEW) and five „O‟
Level credit passes in WASC, WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, NABTEB, at least five Merit
Level passes in the Teacher’s Grade II Certificate
Examination (TCII) or any other recognized equivalent obtained at one sitting
or five „o‟ level credits at not more than
two sittings. The subjects should include English Language and Mathematics.
At
least Registered Nurse Certificate and Five 0’Level
credit passes in WASC, WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, NABTEB or at least five merit
level passes in the Teacher’s Grade Two Certificate
Examination (TCII) or any other recognized equivalent obtained at one sitting
or five „O‟
Level credit at not more than two sittings. The subjects should include English
Language and Mathematics.
II B.Sc. (Ed) Environmental
Education
(A) Admission Requirement for The
Four-Year Full-Time Degree Programme (UTME)
Candidates
seeking admission into this programme should possess any of the following
qualifications:
At least Five Ordinary Level Credit Pass in
WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, NABTEB, or at least Five Merit Level Passes in the Teacher’s
Grade II Certificate Examination (TCII) or any other recognized equivalent
obtained at not more than two sittings. The subjects should include English
Language, Mathematics and Biology/Agricultural Science.
NOTE:

and any other two sciences or Social Science subject

Integrated Science or Environmental Education and three Ordinary level credit
passes in WASC, WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, NABTEB or at least three merit level
passes in the Teacher’s Grade II Certificate
Examination (TCII) or any other recognized equivalent obtained at one sitting
or five O‟ Level credits at not more than
two sittings. The subjects should include English Language, Mathematics and
Biology/Agricultural Science.
